Our client, a leading e-commerce organization, is seeking a strategic and results-driven Head of Sales - E-Commerce to lead its sales function and drive revenue growth across multiple portfolio companies. The organization is actively acquiring additional agencies, expanding its portfolio, and providing new growth opportunities.
This role is ideal for a sophisticated sales leader with a private equity mindset, a structured, process-driven approach, and strong leadership capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop & Execute Sales Strategy: Oversee and refine the e-commerce sales strategy for the organization and its portfolio companies.
Team Leadership: Manage and develop the Account Executive/Sales teams and Lead Generation teams across multiple agencies, ensuring alignment and growth.
Process Optimization: Implement and refine sales processes, lead flow, and KPI tracking to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
Data-Driven Decision Making: Conduct sales analysis, financial modeling, and client/investor presentations.
Demand Generation: Lead outbound sales and demand generation efforts to drive new business in the e-commerce sector.
Relationship Management: Engage with brands, investors, and executive leadership to foster growth.
Portfolio Expansion: Support sales integration and strategy for future e-commerce agency acquisitions.
Qualifications:
10 or more years of sales leadership experience, ideally in a private-equity-backed or services-based company.
Proven ability to scale and optimize sales teams in a high-growth e-commerce environment.
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
Experience leading process-driven sales strategies and managing KPIs.
Ability to work independently without extensive oversight.
Background in Amazon agency sales or SaaS service-based sales is a plus but not required.
Compensation & Benefits:
Base Salary: $200K - $250K
On-Target Earnings (OTE): $300K - $350K
