This is an entry-level IT position.

West Coast Computer Solutions is a growing MSP; we are looking for an on-site desktop / printer / copier tech. Must have basic cabling, desktop, and networking skills. We support any business office software and hardware. If it has an IP, we will support it.
You must be professional and know how to talk to clients. The most important part is talking to clients professionally. If the TV has an IP, we support and even install it. Can you lift a Printer, TV and a Computer? Any knowledge of Toshiba Copiers is a HUGE PLUS
We are looking for a Desktop / Printer / Copier tech. You will help install, upgrade, and troubleshoot hardware and software systems. If you’re computer-savvy and enjoy supporting end users, we’d like to meet you. To succeed in this role, you should have a problem-solving attitude and the ability to give clear technical instructions. You should be familiar with remote troubleshooting techniques. Ultimately, you will ensure prompt, accurate customer service and increase client satisfaction.
This is an onsite and remote position. Some days, you will have to drive to clients' offices; others, you will work at the office; and others, you will work from home.
Responsibilities / Skills
- Remote and on-site
- Address user tickets regarding hardware, software, and networking
- Walk customers through installing applications and computer peripherals
- Ask targeted questions to diagnose problems
- Guide users with simple, step-by-step instructions
- Conduct remote troubleshooting
- Test alternative pathways until you resolve an issue
- Customize desktop applications to meet user needs
- Record technical issues and solutions in logs
- Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
- Follow up with clients to ensure their systems are functional
- Report customer feedback and potential product requests
- Help create technical documentation and manuals
- Proven work experience as a Desktop Support Technical Support
- Hands-on experience with Windows / Linux / Mac OS environments
- Working knowledge of office automation products and computer peripherals, like printers and scanners
- Knowledge of network security practices and anti-virus programs
- Ability to perform remote troubleshooting and provide clear instructions
- Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills
- Customer-oriented attitude

We are looking for someone with a strong knowledge of Windows 10 and a basic understanding of all Windows Server platforms, including Office 365 and SharePoint. This position requires basic understanding, and we will train the right person. The most important thing is keeping our clients happy. We need someone now.
Ability to work alone, troubleshoot, and figure out problems. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to get into the IT field and has the fundamentals needed.
You would drive your car from businesses in the Inland Empire to the San Diego area. Gas is paid for at .625 per mile. Our office is in Murrieta, and you will cover North County, SD, and South Riverside.
