Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing to lead our nursing team in providing exceptional care within our facility. Duties
- Oversee the daily operations of the nursing department, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
- Manage and supervise nursing staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their professional development.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations of patient care plans, including Minimum Data Set (MDS) assessments.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care strategies for residents.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding nursing practices and patient care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with healthcare standards.
- Monitor quality assurance programs to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Stay updated on advancements in nursing practices, regulations, and technologies relevant to assisted living and home health.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) license required; Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in nursing administration, preferably in assisted living or acute care settings.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical records management, Medicare guidelines, and healthcare systems.
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients, families, and staff.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $51,000.00 per year
