ONSITE
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sensor Test Engineer to join our team in developing innovative sensor technologies for AR/MR and wearable devices. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for validating analog/digital blocks for various sensors, including image sensors, dToF sensors, and ALS sensors. You will also support the development and upgrading of test stations/systems in our labs to accommodate emerging sensor technologies.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to perform validation tests for image sensors and ALS sensors
Collect and analyze test data to correlate it with performance metrics
Support debugging, root cause analysis, and problem-solving efforts
Develop new imaging sensor test methodologies to evaluate sensor performance based on MR/AR/SG and other wearable applications
Collaborate with image sensor teams, computer vision scientists, module/optical experts, and sensor architects to evaluate next-generation sensor technologies
Provide high-quality electrical/optical test infrastructure and identify ways to improve existing capabilities and add new ones
Qualifications
BS in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline
3 years of experience in image sensor validation, with the ability to review and author formal validation plans and reports
Proficiency with data collection and analysis tools, including C/C , Python, MATLAB, or other scripting languages
Experience with electrical and functional validation in a lab environment, including experience with lab equipment such as power supplies, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, sourcemeters, function generators, and multimeters
Experience with Optical Test Bench setup
Basic understanding of I2C/I3C/C-PHY/D-PHY MIPI protocols
Basic understanding of image sensor operation
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to draw conclusions from complex datasets and present them at a high level.
