Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Dental Assistant with Expanded Functions (RDA EF) to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient care, excellent clinical skills, and the ability to perform a wide range of dental procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
- Perform expanded functions such as placing fillings, taking impressions, and applying sealants.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays).
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with scheduling appointments.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license.
- Certification in Expanded Functions (EF).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a dental assistant.
- Proficiency in dental software and digital radiography.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
