Become a Lighting Tech and come join our Team of Lighting, Sound and Video Technicians in the exciting and fast-paced Events Industry. We have been in business for 44 years as one of the largest Event Production companies in the Pacific Northwest, and we are looking for a skilled and talented Lighting Technician to join our Technical Services Team.
Candidates must have 3 solid years of experience with event lighting, stage lighting equipment (conventional fixtures, moving lights and dimmers), rigging and power planning. Other A/V knowledge and experience with presentation and sound equipment would be a bonus.
Technician must have good electrical knowledge and must be able to read and understand light plots and stage diagrams. Lighting design experience is helpful. Lead Technician will interface with sales staff to help determine equipment needed for client satisfaction.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: sales consultation, preparation of lighting layouts and pull lists, equipment preparation for jobs, installation, focus and removal of lighting, power runs and rigging in a variety of venues such as ballrooms, tents and private residences.

Candidate must demonstrate the ability to establish work priorities and remain flexible; efficiently respond in a calm and effective manner to a variety of demands and projects; demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills; meet established deadlines; understand and interpret procedures, policies and guidelines; establish and maintain good working relationships with all levels of the organization, clients, vendors, and the public; communicate clearly and distinctly with clients, venue representatives & crew; provide courteous information and service; use office automation tools to prepare a variety of documents, reports and records; work independently and make sound decisions.
Candidate must have flexible schedule as evening and weekend hours are required as well as seasonal overtime. A valid Oregon driver’s license and clean driving record is essential. A drug screening will be conducted upon hire
