The Plant Receiver also accurately records the incoming raw materials and responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment at the plant site.     WHY JOIN OUR TEAM?   Build a stable career with a reputable, family-owned company of more than 450 employees Continuous training and development available Full compensation package provided to full-time employees (including extended health benefits) Generous RRSP matching for employee contributions after 1 year    Take a look at our About Us video here: https://vimeo.com/396483325      SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Unload raw materials from trucks and trailers into the correct pits and tanks as directedEnsure the accurate completion of paperwork such as HACCP documentation and log sheets Maintain a safe, clear and organized receiving area Record, collect, and replace daily Raw Material Inspection Log sheet Clean receiving areas, including walls, plant equipment, and other plant areas Work with yard staff to unload received product May be asked to safely operate forklifts and other hoisting devices when necessary Perform shift work based on company business needs which evolve and change in response to customer demands Work overtime as instructed to ensure minimal downtime of facilities as per Collective Bargaining Agreement Adhere to the company Code of Conduct and all West Coast Reduction Ltd. policies Foster a positive team and company culture by ensuring treatment of others is respectful and aligned with company values Perform other duties as assigned by Manager or Supervisor QUALIFICATIONS & FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS Strong knowledge of all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HACCP practices Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, with strong communication skills Ability to read or interpret diagrams, schematic drawings and manuals to determine work procedure Functional Requirements  Ability to frequently move, carry, lift, push and pull equipment up to 50 lbs without assistance and occasionally greater with assistance Perform repetitive motions including bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing and reaching overhead above the shoulders daily Adaptable to adverse conditions including confined space, heights, cold weather, odours and exposure to animal by-products
