What are the responsibilities and job description for the Groundskeeper/Customer Service/Assistant Property Manager position at West Coast Self-Storage?
New position with West Coast Self-Storage in Stockton, CA. This will be a Hybrid role to include Customer Service/Sales as well as Maintenance/Groundskeeping. This is your opportunity show your skills, knowledge and extend your career path!
The ideal candidate will have experience in general handyman, groundskeeping and customer service background.
Valid Driver's License is required for this position.
What you will do:
- Maintain property to West Coasts Clean & Operational standards, e.g., repairing or cleaning signage, pressure washing, maintain sidewalks, stairwells, and parking lot areas
- Perform landscaping duties e.g., mowing, weeding, raking, pruning trees/bushes, backpack blowing, herbicide application.
Customer Service and Sales:
- Show available units and guide customers through the leasing process
- Meet retail sales and occupancy objectives
- Provide exceptional customer service including assessing customers storage needs (in person, phone and web inquiries)
- Manage, audit and balance cash drawer and petty cash
- General office tasks (i.e.: filing, managing customer accounts, sorting mail/deliveries, etc.)

WHAT WED LIKE YOU TO HAVE:
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (required)
- Retail Sales, Cash Management, and Customer Service experience
- Ability to self-manage while working independently to complete team and company objectives
- Ability to work weekends and some holidays (required)
- Basic computer skills and working knowledge MS Office products (i.e.: Excel, Word, Outlook)
