Groundskeeper/Customer Service/Assistant Property Manager

New position with West Coast Self-Storage in Stockton, CA. This will be a Hybrid role to include Customer Service/Sales as well as Maintenance/Groundskeeping. This is your opportunity show your skills, knowledge and extend your career path!

The ideal candidate will have experience in general handyman/maintenance, groundskeeping and customer service background.

Valid Driver's License is required for this position.

What you will do:

• Maintain property to West Coast’s Clean & Operational standards, e.g., repairing or cleaning signage, pressure washing, cleaning gutters/roof areas, interior and exterior painting, maintain sidewalks, stairwells, and parking lot areas, remove snow from walkways and apply salt
• Perform repairs e.g., drywall, plywood
• Perform landscaping duties e.g., mowing, weeding, raking, pruning trees/bushes, backpack blowing, herbicide application.

Customer Service and Sales:

• Show available units and guide customers through the leasing process
• Meet retail sales and occupancy objectives
• Provide exceptional customer service including assessing customers storage needs (in person, phone and web inquiries)
• Manage, audit and balance cash drawer and petty cash
• General office tasks (ie: filing, managing customer accounts, sorting mail/deliveries, etc)

WHAT WE’D LIKE YOU TO HAVE:

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (required)
• Retail Sales, Cash Management, and Customer Service experience
• Ability to self-manage while working independently to complete team and company objectives
• Ability to work weekends and some holidays (required)
• Basic computer skills and working knowledge MS Office products (ie: Excel, Word, Outlook)
