What are the responsibilities and job description for the Group Fitness Instructor position at West Coast Strength?
We are looking for Dynamic and Exciting Instructors of all types and formats to join our growing team. We're looking for a highly motivated and dedicated professional with a body of work in the Group Fitness field. The ideal candidate will be passionate about their work and have a strong desire to help others improve their health and wellbeing. Our Group Fitness Instructors will have the opportunity to work with clients of all ages and abilities, and must be experienced in making effective, engaging presentations that appeal to a wide variety of people.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a following within the Club and add to the 'Vibe' .
- Proper/Current knowledge of relevant exercise equipment.
- Lead a group of people per structured formats including but not limited to; HIIT, Yoga, Pilates, Power, BodyPump, Water Aerobics, Kick Boxing, Strength and Conditioning, et al.
- Warm up the muscles before leading a group into an exercise session.
- Teach the proper technique/movement patterns.
- Add Progressions/Regressions as appropriate for students at different levels.
- Check for injuries and encourage those who are injured to seek medical help.
- Partner with Club Leadership Team to promote/market the Club and it's Services/Programs
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
