As a Front of House Team Member at Street Taco, you will play a crucial role in creating an exceptional dining experience for our customers. You will be responsible for providing friendly and efficient service while maintaining a clean and inviting atmosphere. Your primary focus will be on customer interaction, order taking, and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will work as part of a team, under the supervision of the Front of House Manager, to ensure the smooth operation of our restaurant.
Customer Service
- Greet customers warmly and create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Provide friendly and knowledgeable assistance to customers, answering their questions about the menu, ingredients, and specials.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Process payments and handle transactions in a timely manner.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
Order Preparation and Assembly
- Prepare and assemble food orders according to customer specifications and company standards.
- Ensure all orders are completed promptly and accurately, maintaining a high level of quality and presentation.
- Follow recipes, portion control guidelines, and food safety standards to guarantee consistency and safety.
Food Presentation and Display
- Arrange and present food items in an appealing and appetizing manner.
- Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the front counter, dining area, and condiment stations.
- Monitor and restock supplies as needed, such as napkins, utensils, and condiments.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Team Collaboration
- Communicate effectively and collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy and timely service.
- Assist co-workers during busy periods, supporting them in providing excellent customer service.
- Work with the Front of House Manager and other team members to achieve overall restaurant goals.
- Contribute to a positive work environment by demonstrating a helpful and enthusiastic attitude.
Menu and Product Knowledge
- Familiarize yourself with the menu offerings, including ingredients, flavors, and preparation methods.
- Stay updated on any changes to the menu, specials, or promotions.
- Make recommendations to customers based on their preferences and dietary restrictions.
Qualifications
