West Coast Trial Lawyers, a Downtown Los Angeles law firm, seeks a legal assistant for their Personal Injury Department.
At WCTL we will provide you with all the necessary tools and in-depth training to successfully navigate personal injury claims. The ideal candidate must be eager to learn and work in a team environment where growth is dictated by the effort they put in. No prior experience is required.
Responsibilities (upon completion of training):
- Interacting with adjusters and medical providers
- Sending letters of representation
- Opening insurance claims
- Confirming coverages
- Requesting police reports
- Preparing DMV forms
- Negotiating property damage claims
- Coordinating medical treatment
- Negotiating bodily injury claims
REQUIREMENTS
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Well-organized and detail-oriented
- Easily operate in a fast-paced work environment
- Reliable and punctual
- Excellent written, verbal, and organization skills
PREFERENCES
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Experience handling personal injury matters

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
