West Coast Vegan Grill is Moultries newest fast casual concept and Moultrie's only vegan restaurant. We are looking for a Kitchen Manager to start immediately, preparing for our opening in early 2023.
The Kitchen Manager position demands back of the house kitchen management skills in a Quick-Serve environment. In addition, the Kitche Manager has great communication and leadership qualities, and the ability to maintain the highest level of standards. The West Coast Vegan Grill Kitchen Manager must work well under pressure, is organized, flexible, self-motivated, reliable, and willing to work long hours. Also, must have cooking skills and is familiar with back of the house operations in a Quick Serve Restaurant environment. Our ideal candidate is able to operate a kitchen and play a major role in the recipe development and costing. The Kitchen Manager reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer and must be familiar with all restaurant financial objectives. This is accomplished by developing baseline labor and food cost goals, analyzing variances in reports; initiating corrective actions; establishing and monitoring financial controls; developing and implementing strategies to increase monthly sales projections.
Restaurant manager Duties:
- Controls purchases and inventory by meeting with the account manager
- Manages back of the house operations and proper Quick Serve Restaurant operational standards
- Developing preferred supplier lists
- Manage overall operations under the guidance of the owner
- Oversees purchasing, inventory control, budgeting, maintaining costs, controlling labor, scheduling, and safety and sanitation
- Manage the customer service
- Prioritize completing tasks on a daily basis
- Ensure Service Excellence
- Ensure excellent guest experience
- Ensure efficiency and speed in ticket times
- Ensuring incoming staff complies with company policy
- Training staff to follow restaurant procedures
- Maintaining safety and food quality standards
- Keeping customers happy and handling complaints
