Job Overview
We are a fast growing wholesale company who sells automotive wheel accessories to tire shops and distributors. Interest in the automotive industry is a plus. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shipping Clerk to oversee our shipping operations and ensure the efficient and timely delivery of products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse, logistics, and team work. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Supervise daily shipping operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with logistics providers and third-party logistics (3PL) partners to optimize shipping processes.
- Maintain accurate inventory control records, including monitoring stock levels and conducting regular audits.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during heavy lifting and equipment operation.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve any shipping-related issues or discrepancies.
Requirements
- One year experience with QuickBooks
- Proven experience in warehouse or logistics.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory management practices.
- Experience with process improvement initiatives in a shipping or warehouse environment.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration across teams.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
