Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Field Manager to oversee our construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of project management, change orders, electrical wiring, and electrical estimating. This role requires effective communication and coordination with various teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
Duties
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Collaborate with project teams to develop detailed project plans, including system design and resource allocation.
- Utilize project management software such as Sage 100 Contractor for change orders and invoices.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, keep ytack of changes and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Oversee project estimating processes, ensuring accurate cost assessments and resource planning.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members to facilitate effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Implement time management strategies to optimize workflow and enhance productivity across all teams involved in the project.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Sage 100 Contractor project management software.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and electrical wiring principles.
- Proficiency in construction estimating techniques and tools.
- Familiarity with project coordination processes and best practices.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of Clock Shark or other scheduling software is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
