We are looking for an Assistant Branch Manager who will be responsible for assisting in the supervision of Branch operations which includes processing, preparing, and closing consumer and home equity loans. This position will assist with staff training, scheduling, and performance appraisals. As an Assistant Branch Manager, you will effectively maintain department records and ensure optimal performance of your team members by providing performance appraisals, coaching, and feedback. The Assistant Branch Manager is expected to maintain confidentiality of account information and stay up to date on Credit Union regulations, policies, and procedures. Like all positions, there are required reports and records that need to be completed accurately and promptly so attention to detail is a must!
This position requires registration under the National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) as a Mortgage Loan Officer (MLO).
What are we looking for:
· Some college or equivalent combination of education and experience
· At least 4 years of related experience in financial services. Supervisory experience preferred.
· Basic understanding of Credit Union philosophy and operations.
· Understanding of Member Representative functions.
· Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Strong written and oral communication skills
· Able to operate computer applications
· Professional appearance, dress, and attitude
