The CST assists the surgical team by acting as the primary scrub person who handles the instruments, supplies, and equipment during surgical procedures. The CST also prepares operating rooms for surgery using appropriate techniques and maintains constant vigilance for the maintenance of the sterile field.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect technical care to surgical patients along the continuum of the age spectrum
- Facilitate the safe and effective conduct of invasive surgical procedures

Certified Surgical Tech
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
Schedule and Shift Details
Full-Time - Rotating Days / Nights with weekends and on call; 8- or 12-hour shifts
