What are the responsibilities and job description for the 7th Grade ELA Teacher position at West Delaware?
West Delaware Middle School is seeking applicants for a 7th Grade English/Language Arts Teacher to start in August 2025. Applicants must hold or be eligible for endorsements to teach 7th grade English/Language Arts.
The West Delaware School District is the home of the Hawks. Our district has a student enrollment of approximately 1,400 students in grades PK-12. We have three attendance centers: Lambert Elementary serving PK-4, West Delaware Middle School serving 5-8, and West Delaware High School serving 9-12. Our district has PLC time scheduled every Wednesday starting at 1:30 and our school district is 1:1 using Chromebooks. Lambert Elementary and the Middle School are located on one campus. Both schools are PBIS schools that also have a focus on social emotional well-being of all of our students and staff. West Delaware High School is a few blocks away and is considered a state and regional leader in work based learning.
