Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Solar Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in solar installation, but we are willing to train the right prospect. As a Solar Installer, you will be responsible for the installation of solar energy systems on residential and commercial properties and the occasional site survey or service call, while always ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Install solar panels and related equipment on rooftops and other structures.
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of solar installations.
- Perform fixture installation, ensuring all components are securely mounted, sealed and connected.
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete installations efficiently and safely.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while maintaining quality standards.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on installed systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during installation or maintenance.
Qualifications
- Mechanically inclined.
- Familiarity with framing and roof components.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams accurately.
- Experience working on roofs and understanding of safety measures associated with rooftop work.
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and equipment necessary for solar installation tasks.
- Valid driver license with clean driving record.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
