West End Family Counseling Services has an opening for a full-time Program Director, this position is responsible for the management of the programs’ day-to-day operation. This position will supervise staff, coordinate service needs, and collaborate with other service providers and agencies. The Program Director will also provide clinical supervision for pre-licensed staff and may supervise student-interns.
PROGRAM(S) DESCRIPTION:
The School Aged treatment services, Student Assistance Program, and School Based Counseling programs provide services to children & youth ages 0-21. Services are provided in the clinic, schools and homes. Referrals for this population come from CFS, Schools, Hospitals, Department of Behavioral Health (DBH), and the community. Children and youth in these programs are at risk of loss of placement (e.g. children involved with foster care, those experiencing psychiatric hospitalizations, and suspensions/expulsion). Treatment intensity and duration vary for each program but typically range from 3-12 months. The goal is to reduce symptomatology and build upon strengths so child/family can manage mental health needs.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Direct the day-to-day clinical/administrative operations of the programs.
- Ensure the assigned team provides quality clinical services to clients being serviced.
- Ensure staff documentation, assessments, and paperwork meet all standards for compliance, productivity, and timeliness.
- Working with CEO and Director of Operations and Finance to generate reports to ensure capacity and timeliness of services.
- Review and prepare staff performance evaluations and facilitate disciplinary actions as needed.
- Develop and maintain productive working relationships with the County, Community Based Providers, School Districts and individual Schools and participate in all required meetings.
- Provide consistent supervision, including support, feedback, clinical consultation, and clear expectations of job duties and professional growth.
- Provide clinical services and community outreach when needed.
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Requirements:
- Masters Degree from a fully accredited, university-affiliated program in Social Work, Social Welfare, Psychology, Counseling.
- LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, and Licensed Psychologist.
- Experience equivalent to five years’ full-time post-graduate supervised experience providing comprehensive mental health services for children, families and/or adults.
- Minimum of one-year management experience over staff who provide direct behavioral health services to children.
- Ability to supervise Pre-licensed Clinicians and Student Interns/trainees.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and able to navigate electronic health records systems.
- Good communication, team building, and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of the child welfare system and child development principles.
- Strong understanding of trauma-informed care, behavioral interventions, and therapeutic approaches for high-risk youth.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, good organizational skills and the ability to multi-task are essential functions of the job.

Salary : $98,000 - $108,000
