Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble all cold appetizers, salads and charcuterie/cheese dishes in accordance with menu specifications. (Strong Plating Skills)
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pantry area, ensuring all items are stored properly.
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure the highest standards of hygiene and sanitation are upheld.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of plates.
- Monitor inventory levels of pantry supplies and report any shortages to management.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or fine dining environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
- Proficiency in meal preparation techniques, including knife skills and cooking methods.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
