Position Overview
As the Basketball for Beginners Coordinator, you will oversee and lead basketball drills and activities for youth participants ages 4-7. You’ll work closely with a team of coaches to create an engaging and educational experience for young players, focusing on developing basic basketball skills while ensuring a fun and safe environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and oversee coaches in instructing basketball drills and activities for youth ages 4-7.
• Ensure all drills and activities are age-appropriate and focused on skill development and fun.
• Provide guidance and support to coaches to ensure effective teaching and positive interactions with participants.
• Create and maintain a positive and supportive environment that encourages learning and teamwork.
• Assist with organizing and coordinating the basketball program to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain communication with parents and guardians regarding participant progress.
• Ensure the safety of all participants during practices and games.
• Assist in setting up and cleaning up after activities.
Work Schedule
This position requires part-time availability during evenings and weekends, depending on the program schedule.
