JOB SUMMARY
Provide financial analyst support for members of the Practice Management team, in order to increase and enhance their productivity at the executive level.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform advanced statistical analyses including opportunity assessments, clinical and financial risk tracking, trend identification and predictive modeling exercises.
- Assess data quality using advanced statistical testing and validation techniques.
- Interpret and analyze outcomes data to accurately assess, evaluate and demonstrate program performance.
- Written and verbal presentation and interpretation of findings in multiple settings.
- Explore existing processes and data warehouses, generating ideas for analysis projects.
- Work with complex database programs to generate original data reports and revise existing reports.
- Maintain a detailed knowledge of physician compensation structures, billing and collection processes, operational methods and policies, and corporate policies and procedures which could impact analytical outcomes.
- Maintain a detailed knowledge of financial operations (function of the general ledger and relation to the income distribution plan).
- Interact with MMS management team routinely to understand project goals, deadlines and develop satisfactory working relationships.

Requirements
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in finance or related field required.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of financial planning and analysis experience in a hospital/healthcare environment REQUIRED.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Ability to work with staff members at all levels of the organization in a cooperative, team-oriented manner.
- Exceptionally strong analytical, organizational, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated experience constructing and maintaining complex financial models.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft applications to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
- Ability to identify and resolve problematic situations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high volume environment.
- Strong work ethic and desire to progress and ability to learn new skills on a largely independent basis. Demonstrated customer-service skills.

Specific Operational Responsibilities
- Identify report and request maintenance assistance for work orders. Follow-up as required. - As Needed
- Assist in development of job descriptions for clinical departments. - Annually
- Assist in establishing work schedules and assignments for staff and new physicians. (i.e., call schedules, managing physician and staff time-off, other coverage areas, etc.) - As Needed
- Maintain departmental charge slips as directed by Senior CPM/VP of Operations. - Annually
- Attend quarterly professional training sessions (i.e., skill specific). - Quarterly
- Perform tasks and duties of absent staff members. - As Needed
- Attend events and other MCC functions as appropriate. - When Required
- Other duties, special projects or reassignments as directed by Senior CPM/VP of Operations - As Needed
- Review and authorize payroll data. Meet prescribed deadlines for submission. - Bi-Weekly
- Assist Senior CPM/VP of Operations in administering physician specialty practices, both operationally and fiscally. - Daily
- Assist in planning, implementing and administering personnel training, and coordination of medical and clerical duties. - Daily
- Work with Senior CPM/VP of Operations to develop and foster professional relationships within MCC in accordance with MCC internal customer service standards. - Daily
- Monitor and ensure compliance between departments, physicians, staff and regulatory guidelines. - Daily
- Maintain communication with physicians, staff and departments. - Daily
- Assist in monitoring and enforcing MCC policies and procedures. (OSHA, Dress Code, and HIPAA, for example). - Daily
- Under the direction of the Senior CPM/VP of Operations code and process invoices. - Daily, Monthly, Quarterly
- Under the direction of Senior CPM/VP of Operations assist in the development of educational materials and conduct staff in-service training (Coding, insurance and/or reimbursement changes, including other training, updates and changes, for example). - Monthly
- Develop and maintain knowledge of each physician pay sources, referring physicians and market resources. - Monthly
- Identify, order, pick-up and deliver medical and non-medical related supplies and materials, as needed. - Monthly
