Looking for a full-time Advanced Practice Provider to join a thriving and very busy Pain Management practice, working directly with 1 full-time outpatient Pain Management Specialist physician. New graduates welcome. Prior pain, orthopedic, neurologic, and/or musculoskeletal experience recommended/preferred, but not required! The Pain Management Specialists at Medical Center Clinic are currently comprised of 2 full-time Pain Management physicians and 1 full-time APRN. The structure of the practice allows the physician and the Advanced Practice Provider to be efficient and highly productive in clinic. NO weekends, NO inpatient responsibilities, NO rotating to numerous locations with long commutes, and NO hospital call!
Medical Center Clinic is a progressive, physician-owned group with over 70 providers, 15 specialties, and over 400 medical professionals. Compensation Package May Include:

Responsibilities:
• Provide direct patient care under direct, and at times general, supervision of the physician.
• Examine, diagnose, and treat patients with acute illnesses and injuries or exacerbations of chronic disease.
• Order evidence-based testing, prescribe medications and refer to specialist as required.
• Prescribe and/or adjust prescription medications, in accordance with education and supervising physician management protocols. Assist in the training of health care personnel in certain diagnostic, therapeutic, and clinical techniques, as directed by the supervising physician.
• Document patient information in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) in a timely manner.
• Typical clinic schedule will be 8-hours per day, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 7:00am – 4:00pm.
• Average patient volume goals of up to 20 - 25 visits per day – Very achievable in a pain management practice.
Education and Experience:
• Successful Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Program
• Licensure in the state of Florida as a Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse
• Active DEA. Supervising physician to communicate if this is required and protocols for utilization.
• New graduates are welcome and considered for this position.
• Experience using an Electronic Health Record (EHR) preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Demonstrates customer-service skills.
• Be a person of integrity and character, willing to embrace change and make a positive impact in the lives of patients and co-workers.
• PC literate in a windows environment
• Ability to ambulate throughout a multi-story, multi-building facility.
• Ability to perform physical labor, including but not limited to holding, stooping, kneeling and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds without mechanical aid, for an extended period of time.
