Carpenter/Laborer

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Carpenter/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and carpentry, with the ability to work on various projects including remodeling, siding installation, and mold remediation. This role requires proficiency in using hand tools and reading blueprints to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to project specifications.

Responsibilities

• Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and wallboard.
• Perform siding installation and roof repairs as needed.
• Assist in mold remediation efforts to restore properties to safe conditions.
• Read and interpret blueprints to determine project specifications.
• Utilize hand tools effectively for various construction tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.
• Conduct basic construction estimating for materials and labor requirements.

Experience

• Proven experience in carpentry or related labor roles is preferred.
• Familiarity with remodeling techniques and construction estimating is a plus.
• Knowledge of plumb techniques and the ability to restore structures effectively.
• Experience with mold remediation practices is beneficial.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols in a construction environment.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour
