Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Drywaller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drywall installation and finishing, along with a variety of construction skills. As a Drywaller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that interior spaces are completed to the highest standards, contributing to the overall quality of our projects.
Responsibilities
- Install drywall sheets on walls and ceilings according to specifications.
- Cut and shape drywall to fit around doors, windows, and other fixtures.
- Tape and finish joints between drywall sheets using joint compound for a smooth finish.
- Perform caulking around edges and seams to ensure a clean appearance.
- Hang doors and install fixtures as needed during the finishing process.
- Assist with remodeling projects by building out walls or creating new spaces.
- Conduct trim carpentry tasks to enhance the aesthetic appeal of finished areas.
- Frame metal studs for wall structures as required by project specifications.
- Utilize airless paint spraying techniques for efficient finishing of surfaces.
- Maintain a clean and organized construction site, adhering to safety protocols.
Skills
- Proficient in caulking, door hanging, fixture installation, and remodeling techniques.
- Strong ability in trim carpentry and framing with metal studs.
- Experience with airless paint spraying equipment is a plus.
- Knowledgeable about construction site safety practices and procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- In addition, hauling and disposing of job related material as needed.
