">We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at our McDavid, FL sawmill operation. This is a challenging opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced industrial environment and is committed to maintaining high-quality electrical systems.
">Responsibilities

- Test electrical systems or continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, or oscilloscopes ">
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, or components to identify hazards, defects, or the need for adjustment or repair ">
- Troubleshoot, program, and upgrade Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) ">
- Design, assemble, or install electrical equipment within the plant ">
- Work with vendors to identify parts needed and make recommendations to the supervisor ">
- Operate power lift equipment when necessary ">
Requirements
">- ">
- 3-5 years of verifiable work experience as an Electrician in an Industrial/Manufacturing environment ">
- Experience in Industrial Maintenance area preferred ">
- Willingness to work rotating shifts and weekends ">
- Ability to safely lift up to 40lbs individually and up to 75lbs with assistance ">
- Ability to work in a non-air-conditioned environment and around heated equipment ">
- Availability to work overtime and be on-call to support 24/7 operations ">
