About the Role:
This exciting opportunity presents a diverse and challenging environment for an experienced High-Voltage Equipment Technician. As part of our Maintenance team, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Repair, install, replace, program, and test all electrical circuits and equipment
- Perform routine to moderately complex repairs or installation of automatic electrical and electronic controls
- Conduct electrical/electronic preventative maintenance on mill equipment
- Repair, modify, and maintain various electrical and electronic equipment
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills
- Background in Electrical fundamentals
- Strong computer, math, analytical, and planning skills
- Ability to understand and follow electrical schematics proficiently without supervision
- PLC Experience
- Able to interpret PLC logic as it relates to its application to process and equipment for troubleshooting purposes
