Lube Tech

What you will do :
- filling, maintaining, and inventorying of bulk lubrication and oil tank systems
- logging usage of oil and lubrication
- maintaining best practice of hydraulic power units
- housekeeping and filtration of hydraulic power units
- lubrication of chain drives and gear boxes
- failure detection on bearings, chains, and power trans due to lubrication deficits and deficiencies
- assisting Millwrights and Contractors with lubrication upgrades
- automatic lube systems in sawmill and log yard
- assisting in oil sampling and corrective action
- labeling all lube points and verifying usage
- Must have a basic knowledge of mechanical systems to recognize when there is a problem
- Weekend grease routes
- Show initiative, good work habits and attendance, good safety record, and good housekeeping habits
- Must be able to climb and work from heights safely
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor
