Powerhouse Assistant
This is a progressive job position with expectations of the team member becoming a master powerhouse operator. The primary responsibility of a powerhouse assistant it to assist in the operation of the powerhouse.
What you will do:
- Responsible for the safe productive operation of stacker to ensure proper packaging of lumber and customer satisfaction
- Show initiative, good work habits and attendance, good safety record, and good housekeeping habits.
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor
What you will need to be successful:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Be willing and able to work a schedule which will include nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Be willing to work rotating shifts.
- Willing and able to work on an emergency call-in basis when required.
- Ability to work as part of a team and deliver value to the team.
- Willingness and ability to cross-train to learn new jobs and skills.
- Consistent, predictable attendance.
- Comply with all West Fraser safety policies and procedures.
