Job Summary
The Client Care Coordinator assists the Program Director by providing comprehensive clinical and social services to the residents, and administrative support to the program. They assess residents' mental and emotional functioning and administer services for necessary treatment. The ideal candidate will need three to five years of experience working with families and their dependent children. The incumbent is part of the team responsible for ensuring that the shelter program provides families with high quality, client-centered, trauma-informed, and culturally competent services.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the clinical and administrative supervision of case managers, housing specialist, and interns.
- Provide individual and group supervision to staff.
- Function independently at the facility in times of crisis, in the absence of the Program Director.
- Assists with reports and program evaluation.
- Addresses client complaints and conduct investigations.
- Provides a brief psychotherapy.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Facility Director.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions in the DHS management system.
Skills & Education
- Bachelors Degree with 3-5 years of experience working with families.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on customer service excellence.
- Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficient in using MS Office software applications and managing electronic records.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
