We are in search of a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to manage the company's operations and ensure they run smoothly. You will work closely with heads of departments and the CEO to develop strategies that will optimize operating capabilities and maximize customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Prepare the budget alongside senior management and other key participants.
- Participate in the development and preparation of short-term and long-term plans and budgets upon company's goals and objectives.
- Drive the company's direction through the implementation of strategies.
- Optimize the company's operating capabilities to maximize customer satisfaction and exceed company goals.
- Appraise and evaluate the results of overall operations regularly and report these results to the CEO.
- Manage and grow a high performing team.
- Introduce initiatives to control costs.
- Delegates authority and responsibility as appropriate.
- Serve as an advisor to the Co-Founder / Executive Director and as a role model / mentor to other staff members.
- Supports the Co-Founder / Executive Director to ensure highly-productive, day-to-day operations of the organization.
- Oversee bank and accounting processes, as well as invoicing and money handling procedures.
- Produce financial performance reports.
- Keep an eye on marketing initiatives to implement more efficient working methods.
- Assist in the implementation of new technologies and processes in collaboration with other senior managers.
- Ensures that all activities and operations are performed in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and laws governing business operations.
