Millard West High School is looking for a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to supporting students with diverse learning needs and helping them reach their full potential.
The responsibilities of the position include:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Provide direct instruction and support in a variety of settings (small group, co-teaching, etc.)
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to create an inclusive learning environment
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting instructional strategies accordingly
- Foster a positive and supportive classroom culture where all students feel valued
All certificated jobs will be posted for at least one week. Depending on the size of the applicant pool, postings may be extended beyond a week. Building principals may start scheduling interviews before the posting end date, but no jobs will be offered until a job has been posted for one week.
