Oral Health Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional patient care and advocate for patients' needs
• Participate in continuing education to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
• Maintain accurate medical history documentation and screen patients for dental needs
• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

Requirements:

• Current dental hygienist license in MI and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and electronic medical record systems
• CPR Certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet patients' needs

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation
• Prolonged periods sitting and standing
• Lifting up to 45 pounds at times
• Availability to attend virtual training sessions periodically
