This is a 24-hour practice with a dynamic and engaging environment throughout the day and night. Not only will you build relationships with animals, but you will also foster strong connections with our clients.

- Monday: 3:00 PM - 8:30 PM
- Tuesday: 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM, 3:00 PM - 8:30 PM
- Wednesday: 3:00 PM - 8:30 PM
- Thursday: 3:00 PM - 8:30 PM
- Friday: 3:00 PM - 8:30 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM
- Sunday: 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Caring for special needs boarders such as diabetics, geriatrics, and epileptics
- Restraining various canine, feline, and exotic species for veterinarians and technicians
- Cleaning (sweeping, mopping, cages, dishes, garbage, surgical site, dental suite, etc.)
- Administering oral medications
- Documenting general well-being of in-hospital patients and boarders
- Assisting with ER protocol, ensuring ER table is prepared for emergency patients
- Preparing surgical materials and ensuring they are sterilized and ready for procedures
- Assisting LVTs with TPRs, blood pressures, and incision evaluations
- Triaging emergency appointments in coordination with the on-premises ER doctor
- Capturing radiographs, including thorax and abdominal views
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to follow directions and work well with others
- Quick and efficient work style in a fast-paced setting
- Adherence to WHAH uniform standards and cleanliness
- Passion for learning and a deep love for animals
- Minimum 1 year of experience in general practice or emergency veterinary care
- Physical ability to stand, lift, and perform job duties for at least 8 hours
- Capability to lift up to 50 lbs, including large boxes, pet food, and various animal species
- Clear handwriting, effective communication, and willingness to attend staff meetings and training programs
