Summary:
Lemoore College is looking for an individual to be responsible for the women's basketball program. The coach is expected to communicate with the student/athletes, recruit student/athletes for the program, supervise student study sessions, develop and manage the basketball budget, and follow the guidelines of the Athletic Department and the California Community College Athletic Association and Central Valley Conference. The coach must also be able to communicate with the coaching staff, faculty, and administration.
Representation Duties:
- Advise and instruct students on theory and practice of assigned sport
- Coach and direct the basketball team.
- Develop and manage the basketball budget.
- Provide direction for all facets of successful basketball program.
- Select and supervise assistant coaches and general supervision of support staff.
- Assist in building strong relations between the community and the athletic department.
- Assist student athletes to complete required academics and transfer to four-year institutions.
- Remain current in theory, coaching, and the subject matter and techniques of effective instruction through participation in professional development.
- Ability to participate in fund raising activities.
- Recruit athletes for the program.
- Perform related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree and two years of experience, or any associate degree and six years of experience.
Class B driver’s license with P (passenger) endorsement is required.
