Our company is seeking an energetic and organized Event Manager who will oversee and coordinate various events from planning to execution. Duties
- Plan and execute all banquet events, ensuring client satisfaction from start to finish.
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.
- Develop and manage budgets for each event, ensuring financial targets are met.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Train and supervise banquet staff, fostering a positive work environment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate menu planning and food preparation.
- Oversee bartending operations during events, ensuring responsible service of alcohol.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs and resolving any issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in the food industry, particularly in a restaurant or catering environment.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control processes and budgeting practices.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations.
- Excellent staff training and leadership skills to motivate team members effectively.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations gracefully.
- Experience in cooking or bartending is a plus but not required.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
