What are the responsibilities and job description for the RECREATION DIRECTOR position at West Manchester Township?
West Manchester Township is seeking a full-time Recreation Director responsible for developing, implementing, and supervising recreation and leisure programs as well as the oversight of related Township parks and facilities.
Applicant should have strong organization skills to ensure a wide range of sports, social, and recreation programs are provided across the Township. Applicants must also have excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as an ability to demonstrate good people skills with residents, employees and various related groups and organizations. Attendance at some evening meetings and after-hour events and programs is required.
The selected candidate should process a bachelor’s degree in Recreation Management or a related field. Commensurate experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
