About Us:
West Marin Fund is a community foundation dedicated to enhancing the wellbeing of all in coastal West Marin, CA. The Fund provides grants and training for local nonprofits and convenes key stakeholders to help identify and fund equitable solutions to challenges facing people who live, work and visit in West Marin.
Position Summary:
The Program Assistant supports program management through administrative and logistical tasks. This includes maintaining databases, coordinating events, assisting with grant cycles, and supporting communications. You’ll report to and work closely with the Director of Programs and Impact to help advance our mission.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with planning and logistics for workshops, nonprofit events, and program outreach.
- Support grant cycle logistics, communications with partners, and help organize grant materials.
- Assist in tracking program effectiveness through data collection and reporting.
- Contribute to external communications (newsletters, social media, etc.) and website updates.
- Provide administrative support for meetings, scheduling, note-taking, and file management.
Qualifications:
- 2–3 years of relevant experience or equivalent training.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and database management.
- Ability to work independently and with a team.
- Passion for community-based work and West Marin Fund’s mission.
Preferred:
- Nonprofit or philanthropy experience, bilingual (English/Spanish), and grants management software knowledge.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 28 per week
