Job Summary
The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is critical to delivering high-quality healthcare services to patients. This is a unique opportunity to join a thriving private practice with a growing patient population. The APP will work with one physician and one physician assistant. Previous knowledge in interventional pain management is preferred, however, new graduates are encouraged to apply. Training will be provided as necessary.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history taking and physical examinations.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and evidence-based practices.
- Perform procedures such as trigger point injections.
- Educate patients and families on diagnosis and procedures.
- Review imaging or other diagnostic results and recommend appropriate follow-up.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health record systems.
- Ensure compliance with medical standards and protocols to promote patient safety and quality of care.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in related field, with appropriate certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to best practices in patient care.
- Current medical license and controlled substance license in the State of Michigan.
- Current DEA license.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $53.00 - $55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
