Responsibilities of the Day Porter - Janitor/Custodian:
- General cleaning in manufacturing/office areas:
- Clean and restock restrooms
- Empty Trash receptacles
- Dust office equipment
- Wipe down hard surfaces
- Vacuum, sweep, mop floors
- Clean interior windows/ doors
Requirements of the Day Porter - Janitor/Custodian:
- Customer facing - positive/polite mannerisms
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to move boxes on a regular basis
- Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach and lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to use motorized equipment (vacuum, hand operated floor cleaners)
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and safety related materials
- Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- Must have steady attendance
- Must be able to pass a background check
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Shift Time: 1st shift, 7:00am to 3:30pm (30-minute unpaid lunch)
Hours Available: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Starting Pay Rate: $16.00 to $18.00/hour (dependent on experience)
