We are looking for a Custodian/Janitor to serve a commercial account in the Sparta, MI area.

Responsibilities of the Custodian/Janitor:
- Clean and restock restrooms
- Empty Trash receptacles
- Dust office equipment
- Wipe down hard surfaces
- Vacuum, sweep, mop floors
- Clean interior windows/ doors
Requirements of Custodian/Janitor:
- Ability to walk a lot of stairs for sweeping
- Floor maintenance required by hand mopping
- Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach and lift up to 25 pounds - Has proven difficult for some
- Ability to use motorized equipment (vacuum, hand operated floor cleaners)
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and safety related materials
- MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK
Custodians/Janitors have daily exposure to cleaning solutions.
Additional Information / Benefits
Compensation for Custodian/Janitor position:
$15.00 - $16.00/per hour, depending on experience
Service is completed three (3) days a week on Monday/Wednesday/Friday
Total hours per week is 24 hours at 8 hours/service day

Shifts available: Evenings (2nd shift) - Set time of 6:00pm to 2:30am (30-minute unpaid lunch)
Screening Requirements: Criminal Background Check
