Responsibilities of the School Day Porter Custodian:
- Clean and restock restrooms
- Empty Trash receptacles
- Dust office equipment
- Wipe down hard surfaces
- Vacuum, sweep, mop floors
- Clean interior windows/ doors
Requirements of School Day Porter Custodian:
- No prior experience required
- Customer facing, pleasant personality required
- Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach and lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to use motorized equipment (vacuum, hand operated floor cleaners)
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and safety related materials
- MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK & Fingerprinting
Custodians/Janitors have daily exposure to cleaning solutions.
Additional Information / Benefits
Compensation for School Day Porter Custodian position:
$15.50 per hour, depending on experience
Shift available: Days, 6:30am to 3:00pm
This is a full-time position.
