Our Financial Services practice is a growing team that focuses on business and technology projects for banks, wealth management, and insurance clients. We help our clients with operating models and strategies and also roll up our sleeves to implement the technology, platforms, data and analytics tools, and the related change management. The role will involve applying knowledge and experience to tailor solutions, helping our Clients gain competitive advantage in their markets. You will help business and technology executives solve key problems within the financial services industry, begin mentoring junior consultants, while building the practice and your career at one of the best places to work. Primary Responsibilities : Client DeliveryServe as Engagement Account Manager for several key Clients with overall responsibility for client project delivery and account growthFacilitate and lead Client and West Monroe Resources on large scale, transformative initiativesCommunicate and report project status to C-level executives and management, including budget, risks, and general business issuesEffectively manage project budget, Client billing, and subcontractor expensesAnalyze each Client’s business needs in order to identify the underlying problems and recommend optimal solutionsDocument clear and concise business / functional requirements and acceptance criteriaQuickly respond to Client issues while also being able to effectively drive projects to timely and successful completionReview project deliverables to ensure quality and consistency of project team outputUnderstand the underlying technologies being used on a project to be able to direct how to design, select, develop, test, and implement a technology enabled solutionOn larger engagements, be able to work with larger management teams and determine independencies between the WMP project and other initiativesOn smaller engagements, be able to work hands on in creating deliverables which could include strategy, design, development, and the delivery of trainingFacilitate effective change management programs within client organizations including creating and administering communication plans to ensure overall system usability and adoptionWork with private equity and strategic acquirers regarding mergers, acquisition and spinoffs, due diligence, and post-close integration and optimizationBusiness Development Actively lead and participate in business development with prospective Clients including solution definition, proposal development, pre-sale Client meetings, estimation, pricing, negotiation, project planning, and development of statements of work all to achieve revenue generation goals at the Senior Manager level Present at industry conferences and effectively network to develop a robust pipeline of prospect Client opportunities Publish white papers, blogs, and actively participate in industry groups to establish West Monroe as an industry leading consulting service provider in Wealth Management Actively partner with Business Developers and other West Monroe solution areas to develop and present impactful solution offerings for prospective Clients    Drive the sales process of identifying and closing new opportunities with existing Clients Actively build a professional network and affiliate network in the local, regional, and national financial services community Foster and broaden professional relationships and opportunities with alliance partners Practice and People Development Manage and mentor consultants in the effective delivery of impactful solutions to financial services organizations Participate actively in the consultant recruiting and performance management processes Train consultants within the Financial Services and other West Monroe practices to be knowledgeable of Wealth Management terminology, processes, and key performance indicators Drive the development / enhancement of WMP’s methodologies and approaches to financial services Client delivery Develop solutions specifically designed to address the needs of financial services firms engaged in Wealth Management Desired Skills and Experience :  10 years’ experience working in wealth management in one or more of the following segments : RIA, Broker / Dealer, Bank Trust Department, Wealth Tech Provider Core Business & Delivery Skills Leading client-facing workshops with Stakeholders Preparing POV / perspective / assumed outcomes Journey and Process Mapping / Optimization Business Requirement Development / Gap Analysis Business Strategy Development / Execution Change Management (Leadership Alignment, People Readiness, Training, Comms) Program / Project Management (PMO) Private Equity, Merger and Acquisition, Due Diligence, Post Close Integration Managing / leading the work of others Estimating project work effort, cost, and identifying and mitigating project risks desired Wealth Industry Experience Deep understanding of predominant wealth management business models : RIA, broker / dealer, and / or bank wealth Strong understanding of the following :  Wealth Management Offerings / Segmentation Marketing / Business Development / Client Acquisition Proposal / Onboarding Portfolio Construction and trading / rebalancing Client Servicing / Operations Regulatory / Compliance  Data Strategy / Reporting / Analytics Client and Advisor Experience Familiarity with Retirement Plans, Alternative Asset, Annuities, and other nuanced products / services  Wealth Technology, Architecture, and Delivery Business and Technology Architecture Vendor Analysis / Selection Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) Experience System Implementation / Integration, Testing, Training Familiarity with bank and brokerage custody, and clearing broker offers Experience with leading portfolio accounting / reporting, rebalancing / trading, CRM, financial planning, custody / clearing and other wealth advisory platforms and technologies Experience with emerging technologies related to data, AI, and machine learning Other Qualifications :  10 combined years of leadership experience in Wealth Management at an RIA, broker / dealer, bank wealth department, and / or business consulting. Strong entrepreneurial, analytical, problem solving, and presentation skills Strong communication skills to be able to work with Client representatives at all levels Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required Based on pay transparency guidelines, the salary range for this role can vary based on your proximity to one of our West Monroe offices (see table below). Individual salaries are determined by evaluating a variety of factors including geography, experience, skills, education, and internal equity.Employees (and their families) are covered by medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees will also receive unlimited flexible time off and ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
