What You’ll Do
Client Delivery

What You’ll Do
Client Delivery
- Lead or help establish a Transmission focused program management office (PMO) for utility clients.
- Act as or support leadership or Project Managers in developing Transmission focused project plans, milestones, and deliverables on large transmission and grid modernization engagements.
- Facilitate Transmission based business process and technical requirements workshops to develop process maps, requirements documentation, and KPIs for Transmission Operations, Field/Asset Management and/or Transmission Planning related processes (e.g., Transmission Operations Modernization, Asset Performance Management, Integrated Grid Planning.)
- Manage teams of project/workstream resources, shared resources, external partners, and business consultants for client programs.
- Contribute to the Energy & Utilities consulting practice by developing new methodologies and service offerings fostering a best-practices culture.
- Drive growth and development within West Monroe's Energy & Utilities Practice from a service offering, culture, thought leadership and sales perspective.
- Establish yourself as an industry thought leader in Transmission through publications, conference engagements, white papers, and active association membership.
- Collaborate with clients to turn their strategic goals into actionable projects and detailed proposals.
- Develop work plans, pricing estimates, and risk assessments for potential projects.
- Strengthen client relationships, leveraging your track record of business development with new and existing utility clients.
- Bachelor’s degree in Power Systems, Electrical Engineering, Operations, Management, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field. (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years in the electric/utilities industry focused on Transmission and distribution-related services
- At least 5 years of consulting experience in professional services.
- Strong knowledge of Transmission solutions, (e.g., Energy Management System (EMS), utility functions, (e.g., Operations, Planning, Engineering), and/or regulatory impacts at Federal and State levels.
- Proven experience managing consulting engagements (e.g., strategy development, program management, system integration, business process reengineering).
- Willingness and ability to travel (up to 50% annually as necessary).
