***Duties***
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities or special needs
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medication according to prescribed schedules and dosage instructions
- Monitor and record vital signs as necessary
- Implement individualized care plans and behavior support plans
- Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding if needed
- Provide transportation to appointments, community outings, and recreational activities
- Support individuals in developing and maintaining social skills and relationships
- Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals at all times
***Experience***
- Previous experience in caregiving or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information
- Familiarity with social work principles and techniques is a plus
- Experience in childcare or working with children with special needs is beneficial
- Ability to administer medication following proper protocols and procedures
- Understanding of working with people on the autism spectrum is desired
- First aid certification is a plus
