We're looking for a Repair Manager who doesn't just love instruments but loves making them sing again. This role combines technical mastery, leadership skills, and a passion for quality service to ensure that every instrument that crosses our threshold is ready to hit the stage (or the classroom) in perfect harmony.
In this role you will oversee all aspects of musical instrument repair operations, ensuring high-quality service, timely repairs, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include streamlining repair processes, maintaining inventory of parts and tools, providing training and support to staff, and managing customer communications. This individual will work closely with sales and customer service teams to meet client needs and ensure instruments are returned in optimal condition, contributing to the company's overall success in the music industry.
What You'll Be Doing
As the maestro of our repair operations, you'll be tasked with the following essential duties and responsibilities. (Other duties may be assigned as business needs dictate.) :
Parts Ordering and Tool Maintenance :
- Manage inventory of repair parts, tools, and materials, ensuring adequate stock levels for efficient operations.
- Research and establish relationships with vendors to ensure timely procurement of high-quality parts at competitive prices.
- Oversee the maintenance and replacement of repair equipment to ensure all technicians have access to the tools they need to work efficiently.
- Implement a tracking system for parts usage and tool maintenance, optimizing budget and minimizing downtime.
