Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to diagnose and treat various medical conditions. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
Duties:
- Perform physical examinations and record patient medical histories
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
- Prescribe medications and other treatments
- Develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Adhere to professional standards, ethical guidelines, and public health standards
Requirements:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner/PA license in Illinois
- Master's degree in related field
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the appropriate specialty area
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proven experience as a Nurse Practitioner/PA or similar role
- Excellent clinical skills and ability to perform diagnostic evaluations
- Strong knowledge of medical procedures, treatments, and medications
- Familiarity with Practice Fusion or similar electronic medical record systems is preferred
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
