Administrative Assistant _ Part-Time (Construction Related)
The individual in this role will be expected to provide administrative support to the office and management team. Prior experience in the construction industry is preferred. The Administrative Assistant must have strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, and a drive to self motivate daily productivity with accountability of time management.
This is a part time position with flexible hours, M-F.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the office staff and management team
- Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries
- Maintain all licensing and insurance documents
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
- Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, reports, and other documents
- Maintain filing systems, both physical and electronic, ensuring accuracy and organization
- Assist with processing building permits
- Assist with project management tasks as needed
- Provide customer support
- Perform general clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning, faxing, and mailing
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a construction related office is preferred
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other relevant software programs
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
