Job Summary:
We’re seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you’ll perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on our fleet of trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment. This position offers a hands-on opportunity to work with top-tier equipment in a fast-paced, safety-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and diagnostics on diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and heavy equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair issues with vehicles and machinery, including brakes, transmissions, and electrical systems.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and equipment condition.
- Ensure all repairs and maintenance comply with company policies, safety standards, and DOT regulations.
- Collaborate with the fleet team to schedule preventive maintenance and minimize downtime.
- Respond to emergency repair calls in the field when required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in diesel mechanics preferred.
- 3 years of experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance, with knowledge of heavy equipment and hydraulic systems.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and software.
- Valid driver’s license (CDL is a plus).
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and DOT regulations.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
