Job Summary :
West Penn Energy Services LLC is seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Facility Construction Laborer to join our team on a full-time, long-term basis . This role supports the construction, maintenance, and repair of natural gas facilities , including compressor stations, meter stations, and related infrastructure. The position will be based in the Pennsylvania region but requires overnight travel while on projects . The ideal candidate will have construction experience, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety and quality .
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in the construction and maintenance of natural gas facilities, including foundation work, structural assembly, piping installation, and general labor tasks .
- Operate and maintain hand and power tools such as grinders, saws, drills, and pneumatic tools.
- Perform physically demanding tasks such as shoveling, lifting, carrying materials, and site cleanup .
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment at job sites.
- Follow company and regulatory safety procedures , including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, gloves, safety glasses, and boots.
- Assist with site preparation and restoration , ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
- Take direction from supervisors and collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and on schedule.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Site Supervisor or Project Manager .
